2009 Ch. St. Jean Belle Terre Chardonnay  - $299.99 cs/12 ($25)
Parker 91pts."The full-malolactic style is demonstrated by the 2008 Chardonnay Belle Terre Alexander Valley. Poached pear, white peach, apricot, and honeysuckle with a subtle hint of background oak are all present in this beautiful wine. Drink it over the next 3-4 years."

2009 FLOWERS Chardonnay Sonoma Coast - $450.00 cs/12 ($37.50) -Connoisseurs' Guide One Puff/90pts. "This nicely defined bottling is concentrated and fairly compact in both its aromas and flavors, and, while not a wine that explodes from the glass, it counts plenty of depth and real fruity muscle to its credit. Its glimmers of minerals and neatly placed oak raise real expectations for complexity to come, and, from our present perspective, there seems little doubt it that it will grow famously for as many as four or five years."

2008 Kistler Chardonnay Les Noisetier Sonoma Coast - $350.00 cs/6 ($58.34) - "classic aromas of a fine Chassagne-Montrachet with notes of slate, minerals, and roasted grains. On the palate there are abundant flavors of orange marmalade, citrus, white peaches and subtle oaky notes that will age gracefully for the next 5 - 7 years. This extremely well balanced, silky smooth wine even shows mango, papaya, guava and a hint of ginger and honey on the finish."

"Fresh floral scents, with notes of apple, pear, spice and light oak, lead to a full-bodied palate, intense and vibrant. This is slow to unfold, but ends with pure, refreshing fruitiness. Drink now through 2017" and Parker 89pts."Neyer's most Chablis-like Chardonnay is probably the crisp, citrusy 09 Chardonnay Carneros " Medium-bodied, with crisp apple skin, white peach and citrus oil notes, the wine is medium-bodied and fresh, with subtle earthiness and perhaps some oak, but the fruit and minerality dominate. Drink it over the next 2-3 years."

2009 Merry Edwards Sauvignon Blanc - $35.00 bottle - Winemaker's Notes:Forty-two percent of the grapes in this Sauvignon Blanc now come from vineyards exceeding thirty years of age. In 2009 we were fortunate to add Poplar, owned by Kent Richie, and the Martinelli Home Ranch to our mature collection that includes Dutton-Cohen and La Rochelle. These are rare treasures here in Russian River Valley. Other contributors to this wine are our own Meredith Estate, Crinella and Dutton-Jewell, all planted to Sauvignon Musqué.

2009 The Whip by Murrieta's Well  - $99.99 cs/6 ($16.67) - “A nutty white blend: 43% Semillon, 21% Sauvignon Blanc, 21% Viognier, 7% Muscat Canelli, 5% Gewurztraminer, and 3% Orange Muscat. Very aromatic nose of lemon peel, slight honeysuckle, and fresh spring flowers which gives one an impression of sweetness. In the mouth, a creamy rich body, despite the lack of chardonnay in this blend, followed by the depth of flavor and weightiness of the Semillon rounded by the well known acidity from the Sauvignon Blanc. This wine is a tribute to the storied white blended wines of the world; a sophisticated, yet approachable blend of six aromatic white grapes.  Fermented and aged in a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak barrels, the wine expresses full-bodied aromas of white peach, baked apple, honey, and butterscotch, with an extended and balanced finish.”  “A Silver medal from the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, January 2011, this NEW White could easily be mistaken for a great French Rhone Valley white, aromatic, smooth, fruity, yet very dry.
